We are now seeking a talented Junior Buyer
Here is a breakdown of what youll be doing:
Manage the purchasing process for the Off-Season Category with the OTB, the manager guidelines and buying strategy;
Work actively with the Senior Buyer and Buying Manager during campaigns
Work towards a strategy focused on selection of product mix and brand mix;
Provide analytical support to the Senior Buyer & Buying Manager with regard to margin, revenue, sell through and brand development;
Support the Senior Buyer and Buying Manager in the buying process in terms of selection of the brands and the relative product mix considering previous season performance, new trends, product availability, delivery dates and stock;
Support with the Buying process in selecting product, entering orders and all post appointment changes or edits;
Negotiate with the vendors in terms of sale, payment procedures and delivery process;
Ensure the smooth running of all office admin, including order entry, Back Office procedures and Operations such as returns, lack and delivery plan;
Work on presentation and reports documents related to the brand in order to optimize merchandising and product sales.
The type of person we are looking for:
Passionate about fashion, able to identify product opportunities
A relevant buying experience as Assistant Buyer or in Sales contests will be considered a plus
Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team as well as being a self-motivated individual
Highly numerate with strong analytical skills;
Willingness to work under pressure and very flexible hours
Strong excel and power point skills
Fluent in English
